Writing this review on behalf of my husband who stayed here two nights to attend a Manchester United game. This was perfect if you’re in town to watch a game. Can walk back and forth from Old Trafford. This bnb is in a neighborhood as it’s a house so driving up to it can be a bit surprising at first. The house was really spotless and the hosts were very kind. Your stay does include breakfast and you have choice of an English breakfast & a Hong Kong style breakfast that the host makes for you. The house contains rooms upstairs for guests and are very comfortable and well equipped. Things to keep in mind are no food in the rooms, you can eat downstairs in the lounge area, you can also hear other people’s movements/tv and the hosts as well. This is something to consider if you’re not used to staying in this kind of accommodation.

Hosts Gloria and Frankie are great. Breakfast was good. The state of the room and bathroom are first-rate. The disadvantages of this place is the distance from a tram (especially if you are pulling luggage) and the fact the walls are very thin. They ask (in the house rules) to turn down your TV after 10 p.m. to “5” or less. But the guys in the room next to me obviously didn’t read the rules or didn’t care. I messaged the hosts the first night and they responded quickly, asking them to turn it down. But I didn’t bother the second night.

Great autumn stay

My greatest experience of a B&B. The hosts Gloria and Frankie were super friendly and helpful with anything I wondered about. The room was clean, spacious, cosy and had a Bluetooth mirror/speaker! It was a bit chilly so bring an extra sweater now during winter. Will absolutely recommend this to any friend going to Manchester and definitely come back. Thanks for a lovely stay and loved the Man Utd theme in the breakfast room 😍

Herzliche Gastgeber die viele tolle Tipps für Manchester geben. Schöne, gemütliche und ruhige Zimmer mit vielen praktischen Details (z.B. Viele Möglichkeiten was aufzuhängen). Das Zentrum ist sehr gut zu erreichen, zu Fuß ca 45 Minuten, mit dem Bus (direkt vor der Haustür) ca 30 Minuten, Tram ca 20 Minuten. Täglich frisch gekochtes Frühstück. Toller Pub die Straße entlang. Perfekt für einen Manchester-Trip. Vielen lieben Dank für die wunderbare Geburtstagsüberraschung!

Very enjoyable stay. Owners are very nice and welcoming and happy to help. Very clean and modern property. Superbly tasty breakfast. Room and en suite of a generous size and comfy bed. Good location, tram stop for getting into the city centre is only a short walk up the road. For us the only downsides were limited parking although we were lucky to get the driveway spot and the road it’s situated on is quite noisy, even at night. Nevertheless we would stay again.

Gloria und Frankie sind hervorragende Gastgeber, die auf jeden Wunsch eingehen. Sie sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend! Sie führen das B&B mit liebevollen kleinen Details. Sie haben immer gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und sind sehr interessiert. Ich habe Hafermilch und glutenfreies Frühstück bekommen. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir die Küche und den Kühlschrank benutzen durften. Es gab zu jeder Zeit Kaffee und Tee. Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber und ordentlich. Genauso wie der Frühstücksbereich. Danke für alles!

What a great place. This place is clean, well-equipped and decorated very nicely. The breakfast provided is above the standard, and the service from the owner couple is warm. I will definitely stay here again. This B&B is highly recommended.

Great B&B

Stayed here for a local conference. Location is great for Old Trafford and the cricket ground and even better if your a Man Utd fan as the owners are real fans with memorabilia displayed on the walls. I only had the continental breakfast which was good and my room (No3) was very comfortable You need to be aware the property is only a few houses down from the traffic lights if your driving but there is space on the drive and in the road. I would stay here again

Home from home

You couldn’t ask to stay anywhere better, Gloria and Frankie were amazing hosts who couldn’t have done any more to make our stay enjoyable, having just watched 4 in a bed on TV I was particularly interested to assess the cleanliness - it was faultless!! We had the twin room with an excellent shower, beds comfy and the breakfast was amazing with a choice of English and Hong Kong breakfast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Fantastic bnb, lovely people

Great place to stay. Gloria and Frankie are such warm, welcoming and helpful people who couldnt do enough for us. The place is modern, clean and comfortable with convenient access into the city centre but still quiet. We were staying for Manchester marathon and they were so helpful with locations and directions, fab cooked breakfast and friendly chat. We would definitely stay here again! Jenna and Hedley x
