"This place was absolutely stunning"

"The Reluctant Panther was a cut above the other inns that I have stayed at. On check in, we were walked to our room and shown where everything was. The room was very large and comfortable. There was a nice seating area in front of a fireplace. We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had a truly excellent meal and excellent service. Breakfast is served in a basket that can be picked up in the dining room or delivered to your room. All in all, our stay was exceptional. "

"Beautiful resort with spacious rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the historical architecture and ambiance. The pool and hot tub were perfect. We only wish that the hot tub stayed open later (it was closed at 8:30 pm). The restaurant was too dark and dull looking ( could have used better lighting and more color). The food was delicious!"

"We booked this hotel as a half way point on our way to Niagara Falls. From the moment we checked in the staff we incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the amenities were nice. My family enjoyed swimming in the pool. It’s near a chilis which was nice to stop and have dinner. If ever in the area again we would stay again!"

"We were hoping to use the pool. It was NOT USABLE DUE TO the WATER BEING CLOUDY. The room had a bleach smell. We were promised a “free breakfast”. Instead, we received a granola bar and orange juice with mandarin orange segments at check in."

"The place was well located and cool vibe. The big problem for me was the strong mildew smell. They desperately need a dehumidification system in the rooms. I thought I would get used to it but every time I woke up during the night I smelled it. When I returned home I smelled my PJ’s before putting them in the wash and they smelled mildew ish."

"The location is amazing. Beautiful outdoor facilities (pool, hot tub, fireplace) but the views of the green mountains are what is most beautiful about this place. The hotel is being renovated and we stayed at one of the upgrades rooms and it was wonderful. Everything was spotless. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was the best I have had in a long time. They provide good quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion and all good quality. "I do not normally give a mediocre review but I had to in this case. The view was great and the room had been redecorated not that long ago I feel but the bed had to be decades old. We got very poor sleep as the bed was sunken in in the middle into a big valley it wasn’t anything the front desk could have solved. So on our second night we put one of the pillows between us so we didn’t roll to the middle ( we are not heavy people either ) and we slept a little better. It also was very hard. ...

"This was the second time I’ve stayed at this location, first time under New Englander Inn name. Both times I was impressed by how clean and organized the breakfast area was. A staff member was constantly in and out cleaning up and restocking the breakfast items."

"We had a lovely time staying in the Tower Room for our wedding weekend! The space feels like it's own tiny apartment with a winding center staircase leading up to a luxurious spa-like bathroom, perfect for getting ready in the morning and relaxing at night! The staff was kind and helpful, our only regret was not being able to stay on property longer, we will definitely be coming back to try the famous French Toast at breakfast!"
