"This hotel was a godsend for us when Breezy Point failed to provide us with the accessible unit we reserved for the week. The price was very reasonable, and it had a kitchen so we could use the food we had brought. We were able to book the hotel and check in late at night very smoothly as it has self check-in with door key codes that are very convenient and delivered promptly. I ended up interacting with staff on site several times during our 4 day stay and they were very concerned that we have a great time there and get what we needed. There is a nice, if somewhat small pool, a whirlpool spa, and a sauna available that I used daily. This is a quiet hotel, and there was only ever one other person at a time that I ever ran into while using the facilities. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that they were actively working on improving the property (you might read about issues in other reviews). I got the impression that it is under new management now, and they are really doing a great job dealing with an older hotel. The location is very convenient, walking distance to grocery, liquor, gas station, Subway, and several other places. It is on a main road, but separated from that road by a small, little traveled side road that I felt very safe and comfortable walking on. I gave it 4 stars, but it is a good 4 stars, and we would return with no concerns."

"Our TV decided to not work during our visit. The staff promptly fixed the problem with no trouble. It was a very quiet property. Not the usual hear the other quests in the hallways or through the walls. We did not have a chance to utilize the outdoor patio, but it looked fantastic!"

"Good Ole Days Resort is such a warm, family-friendly destination. It is such a restful retreat on the lake with kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, corn hole, grills, and a fire pit to roast marshmallows and end the evening."
