The details of the lighting, the feel of the bed, the slippers and the robe, the welcome gift, the bathroom and the room decor were so much more than I could have asked for or even planned. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were excellent. Food at the Fresh buffet was consistently excellent although it took a very long time to get salt and pepper brought to the table. It seems like they should already have those on the table. As a non-smoker, I was very disappointed to find a small room with a few old slot machines in some lonely corner as the only dedicated non-smoking area. We ate our first meal at the Oasis restaurant. The service was horrible, and the food took way too long to be served. In fact, I told one of the few waitstaff that we would be leaving if our food wasn't served to us within ten minutes. That seemed to bring some better results. We could see that the other customers were having the same problems with service as we were. I would avoid the Oasis. The swimming pool seemed odd. It was very long and narrow and only 4-foot deep. It was clean but just not what I would expect at a RESORT. They really seem to want you gambling instead.
