Sweet room with the best cost performance
The sweet rooms have 2 rooms, stylish bath-tab, and moreover private backyard. Every room is not so wide as the other hotels one, but it's so cozy! コストパフォーマンスがベストなスィートルーム。 ここのスィートルームは、2部屋、お洒落なバスタブ、その上、専用の小庭があります。 それぞれの部屋は、他のホテルのそれより広くはありませんが、むしろそれが居心地がいいんです。

The best in Manila for individual or couple stay
This hotel is not vintage one in a big city. If you love party, you would feel boring here. If not, you could appreciate calm, unharried, and relaxed time. There is no gorgeous robby like other 4-5 stars hotel. But you can enjoy birds singing. このホテルは、いわゆる都会的な高級ホテルではありません。個人、カップルに最適です。 パーティが好きな方は、きっと退屈するでしょう。 時が止まったかのような静かな環境で、ゆったりと過ごす方に最適です。 マニラにある他のビンテージホテルのように、豪華なロビーはありません。 でも、他にはない、鳥のさえずりを楽しめる庭がここにはあります。

都会のオアシス兼隠れ家、大人の滞在先
コロニアル様式の赴きのあるホテルで雰囲気を楽しめた。 レストランでの夕食はお勧めです。 ムール貝、パスタを食べましたがどちらも美味しかった。食後に外の席でのドリンク、コーヒーもお勧め。 また、MOA、マカティ共にバス、ジプニー、グラブ等で簡単にアクセス可能。 残念な点としては、プールサイドのチェアーが６台しかないので常に満席であったこと。 また、頼まないとハンドタオル等は出てきません。バスタオルのみは少し不便。

This is our 2nd visit in the last year. We love this quaint hotel as it sits in its own small compound and is close to local shops, fresh bakeries and cantenes. The restaurant on site has great comfort foods. The staff is welcoming and always ready to serve your needs. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's easy to get transportation and is about 20 minutes from the airport. We will continue to Visit the Henry when in Manila!

Beautiful building, service needs improving
This hotel looks great but there are just a few key things missing Check in is a laborious affair, seeming to take forever at all tones of the day. We checked out at 4.30am, and were kept waiting additional time whilst they “checked our room”, coming out to ask where cost hangers were... we had settled our bill the night before and were backpacking, we definitely didn’t have heavy wooden hangers in our backpacks! Only 350ml of water complimentary per person per day - sub standard for the hotel class. No hand towel or foot mat in the bathrooms Also if toilet paper is not to be flushed due to plumbing, the bin NEEDS to have a lid for hygiene reasons! Finally, the airport transfer is ridiculously overpriced - 1200 peso when regular fair is 200-250! Unfortunate that these things held back from what is a beautiful hotel. On a positive the bed was VERY comfy, but our king bed was two single mattresses put together, so not hugely romantic

如果你是與家庭一同出遊或是想要與一群好友度過興奮的時光，這裡便不會理想的酒店。但若你想要在一個寧靜有舒適的地方，安靜的休息、吃頓飯、看一本書，與朋友聊天，這裡是馬尼拉最棒的選擇。整個酒店包括房間裡、餐廳裡、每個角落都充滿了迷人的古典風格。 而且這裡距離機場僅15分鐘，唯一比較美中不足的是，附近的街道並沒有想像中的安靜舒適，反而有非常多的遊客及當地居民。

리셉션 직원들도 친절하고 전체적인 느낌을 보고 예약한거라 만족했음 1층 젤 첫객실인 룸은 방이 많이 작았음 내가 예약할 당시만해도 사진이 트윈룸이었는데 가서보니 그냥 트윈더블 정해진게 아니고 현장에서 정해짐 부모님은 더블 불편해서 트윈으로 한줄 알았는데 알고보니 현장정해진다니.. 음 그런게 좀 아쉬움 처음부터 정할 수 있게 예약가능하면 좋을듯.. 따뜻한 물이 잘나오고 수압이 세서 만족했음(뜨거울정도로도 나옴 완전만족) 바퀴가 방에서 나옴 근데 환경상 어쩔 수 없는것 같음 예전 보홀 좋은 숙소에서도 봤기에 동생네에서만 나온줄 알았는데 우리 방에서도 나왔다니 체크아웃하고나서 알아서 다행 ㅋㅋ 오빠가 나한테 말을 안했던거임 여튼 전체적으로 만족함 단지 도보이동불편..(난 상관없는데 부모님이 우리끼리 걸어나가는걸 걱정하심) 모든 이동은 그랩으로 해서 만족 근데 필리핀 그랩 왜이리 비쌈? 흰택시랑 비교해서 너무 너무 비쌈... 숙소에서 보니파시오쪽 가는데 그랩으로 480페소 정도함.. ... 미터택시 절대 저리 안나오는데.. 부모님과 함께라 어쩔 수 없이 그랩이용.. 여튼 조식도 맛있었음 3분류 나뉘는데 하나씩은 다 시켰는데 (6명) 다 만족함 기억은 정확히 안나는데 하나는 베이컨 , 채식에 1개 , 팬케익 , 그 위에꺼 이렇게 시켰는데 전부 만족 양이 작을듯 했으나 정작 먹으니 배불렀음

Corner of heaven in Manilla.
This was my last night before I left the Philippines and I absolutely loved The Henry Hotel. Very comfy, elegantly luxurious and well positioned for anyone arriving or leaving the country.Would definitely go back!! Highly reommended!

落ち着いた雰囲気のマニラ市内では他に比べられるホテルはないでしょう。
周りの雰囲気から隔絶された環境が大変良かったです。 落ち着いた雰囲気でとても癒されました。マニラの中心地では珍しいタイプのホテルで、今回ここに5泊できたのはとても良かったと思います。 残念なこともいくつかあります。 空港の近くなので離陸する飛行機の騒音がひどいこと。周りの道路からも爆音のバイクや車の音が聞こえてしまうこと。 ホテルのサービスや設備に関しては概ね満足ですが、私達夫婦の宿泊したクラシックというタイプの部屋は、2人で宿泊することを想定してないかのような設備でした。例えば椅子はオフィース家具のところに一つだけ。ルームサービスで何かを食べるにも1人はベッドに腰掛けて食べざるを得ずとても不便でした。タンスもあるのですが、扉がちゃんと閉まらなかったり、シャワールームの扉もピタリと閉まらなかったので、床がびしょびしょになってしまいました。 そしてタオルです。バスタオル2枚、バスマット一枚きりでした。ハンドタオルもフェイスタオルも無しです。アメニティは歯ブラシは二本でしたし、2人ようなのかなと思うのですが、なぜにタオルはバスタオルだけなのでしょうか？ WiFi環境ですが、2泊目から使えなくなり、フロントに行ったらゲスト用のI.D.をもらいました、ただ、速度も出ないですし、いい環境とは言えないです。 レストランはすごく良かったです。外からも食べに来るほどです。価格もリーズナブルで、美味しい料理が多かったです。スタッフも皆若くて毎朝笑顔で送ってくれました。 良いホテルとロケーションなので、少しづつでも改善して行って欲しいと思います。

Vintage Hotel, a peaceful garden.
Nice hotel behind high walls, an old renovated construction in a nice tropical garden. Outside is chaos (you cannot leave by foot the hotel) but once in the premises, what a change.Stylish and vintage rooms, antique atmosphere, no modernity. Rooms are cleans and comfortable, but not luxurious. Restaurant needs to be upgraded (little choice, not qualitative) and no choice for breakfast. Pool in the garden, yet water is not cristal clear. Ask for a room far from the entry, as the road is really noisy and the windows do not protect from the noice.

Charming hotel in Manila
Spent one night here on our way to Cebu. We love the Henry Hotel. The location is set back one block from Roxas and on a safe, quiet lot. The on-site restaurant is very nice, good food and great value.

The hotel staff are professional and frindly however, there were couple of items were taken from our room during cleaning. I don't recommend to leave your items unlocked. Also, during the checkout, I noticed that they have double charged us for one meal. After contacting them they did however corrected the problem. The management tried to look into the issues but we were not satisfied

There is a certain charm here. A very worn facility with just the right repairs and updates. Nothing feels new and modern, while it really is where it counts. We stayed in the garden room which has a more modern vibe and a camper like layout. If you like privacy and personal space this room is better left for someone else. Its garden location is in the public garden, that said there we had no privacy issues and it was quiet. The toilet area is seperated from the bedroom with a sliding glass door, if you have performance anxiety not the best room choice. The outside shower is great, with flow, pattern and pressure that makes it difficult to remember the obligations of water conservation. The AC works flawlessly and sleep was bliss on amazing soft sheets and fluffy comforter. The bed itself is firm but comfortable and though i regularly sleep on an ultra soft bed this was good and probably a treat for my spine. Lastly the staff here has mastered the art of making the guests feel at home. Special thanks to the front desk and cleaning crew for making us comfortable for our unavoidable early arrival and for the security officers assistance in getting us a trike to the bank for cash and back.

フロント横にある小さなギフトショップThe Honest Shopで素敵なフィリピンのお土産をいくつか買えました。 商品のセレクトもさることながら一番驚いたのは、このお店にはレジがなく、代金を入れる箱があるだけ。 お客さんの正直さで成り立っているお店、だからHonest Shop。 ホテルの客室は、センス良くデザインされた小物達が目を楽しませてくれます。

I woke up with a lot of either bed bug or mosquito bites. I told the front desk and they told me to dial number 0 on the phone but why couldn’t they just send housekeeping from their reception lobby desk? Anyways, I called 0 but they never answered the phone. I even took pictures of my bites but the reception male employee never attempted to accommodate me or resolve the issue. I stayed there April 30th to May 1st. I checked in early on the 30th and got breakfast and ordered beef tapa with scrambled eggs, garlic rice, and house fries. The next day they gave me same meal with fruit and bread. This issue is merely about principle because the server stated he gave me the same exact meal yesterday but did not. Other than the service, the pros were a working shower, fridge, comfortable bed (except waking up with bites), and walking distance to the Main Street. The cons were no gym, no elevator, lack of genuine service, no professionalism, and no friendliness of staff, lack of following up with guest requests, WiFi connection was not up to par, and the safe was not able to reset for usage.

I stay at room 104 which is the closest room to the entrance and road. The drawback is a bit of noise as Jeepneys horns can be heard all the time. Or else this garden-like is worth to stay a night or two.

Staying at the Henry feels like I'm a guest at a private home back in the days of gracious old Manila. I needed a special mouthwash for a sore throat and they sent a staff to the pharmacy to get it for me. That is personalized service at its finest. Surrounding the property is like a botanical garden, with the smell of frangipani flowers wafting in the air. That old acacia tree shades the patio area and cools the air while enjoying an afternoon tea. There's no crowd and no casino and I haven't met an annoying guest. There is a camaraderie among guests when we are at the hotel restaurant because it's so intimate. I love the art deco tiles there. Even their gift shop is unique, nobody minding the store, just leave the payment in a box. This definitely is not a Las Vegas type posh hotel but I would not stay anywhere else. séjour très décevant
J'avais réservé depuis 3 mois une chambre pour deux adultes et un enfant. Nous avons eu une chambre avec un lit double queen size...et pas de lit supplémentaire. Donc la personne de l'accueil nous a dit de voir avec la taille du lit car elle pensait qu'on passerait à 3 dans le lit!!! Mon fils a 13 ans...Evidemment, on ne passait pas à 3 donc ils ont installé un "lit supplémentaire" qui a consisté en une couette posée sur le sol, un coussin et un drap... Je ne trouve vraiment pas cela acceptable: un enfant n'est pas un bébé... D'ailleurs, la chambre était prévue pour 2, quoiqu'ils nous aient dit car il n'y avait que 2 verres, 2 bouteilles d'eau, 2 brosses à dent...Bref, ils nous ont mis dans une chambre pour 2 alors qu'on était 3 et vu que l'hôtel était complet, on n'a pas eu le choix. Le dinner au restaurant est médiocre: peu de choix, plutôt cher et très gras. J'ai été vraiment déçue par ce séjour car j'avais mu des commentaires positifs sur les sites et sur le guide. Certes le bâtiment est beau, la piscine sans doute agréable mais donner une chambre pour 2 à 3 personnes, même si un enfant est compris, ce n'est pas normal.

Henry hotel is a leafy oasis in the busy noisy city of Manila. The garden is beautifully kept with the many lovely trees and plants which are lit up at night with fairy lights. The room we had was clean and spacious with a good comfortable bed. The food at the restaurant is tasty and good quality. Only 20 mins drive to the airport which is handy.

Unikt hotell for de som ønsker roligere omgivelser. Fortsatt bra service og renhold, men jeg vil påstå at det var bedre da jeg besøkte hotellet i 2015. Derfor litt lavere score denne gangen.

It's secluded and nice.
Would have given it a 5, but had to wait over 1hr 15min after my check-in time for the room. I arrived early. So decided to have lunch to wait for the room to be ready. Took my time eating. Room was ready, but it wasn't the room I signed up for. So they had to prep the bigger room. (They said would take another 15 minutes) but took an extra 30 minutes on top. Hotel was nice, but I don't recommend for elderly people. It is an old structure built in the 40s. No Elevators. Had to escort my mom to see the pool/garden because the the driveway is rocks. Have to be careful. Also had to help them upstairs as there are no stairs. Also, not within reasonable walking distance to see things. (i.e. the mall). You'll need a taxi or grab to venture outside the property. Staff friendly. This is a secluded place you will want to stay at if you don't mind the price and just want to get out of feeling like you are in Manila. Place felt very safe. Properly looks very nice for pictures. Rooms have strong AC and nice big clean bathrooms. Would suggest wearing lots of mosquito lotion/spray if you plan on staying in the pool area. Lots of mosquitos outside there. The beds and pillows were probably the most comfortable I stayed in during my 1 month in the Philippines. Between 6 hotels, & 4 islands, this definitely had one of the most comfortable beds/pillows. Was a nice place to stay and de-compress before my long flight home. WiFi fast. Food is not cheap here.

我非常喜歡這種具殖民地歷史的酒店，特別是亨利酒店似乎改建自某政要富商的別墅莊園，豐厚的歷史感無疑迴添了下榻的價值。因為酒店離國際機場不到五公里，因此離開馬尼拉的最後一夜我選擇在此入住；由於入住的是相對高等的房型，房內的陳設與空間布局均頗符合心意。比如說花磚，比如說藤編燈罩與貓爪浴缸，比如說充滿創意的各種提示小紙片等，這些巧思裝潢又為整體環境加了分！我想下回若有機會來馬尼拉，我一定會再次預訂！ 美中不足的是，當夜夜班的服務員英文似乎不太靈轉，先是跟我說迷你吧的酒食可以免費享用（沒錯，我曉得有些酒店的高端房型是率先算進迷你吧的額度的），我開了罐啤酒，沒想到退房之際竟要求我繳付一百批索－－當然，這純粹是英語使用溝通方面的問題，但不致影響我對酒店的整體評價。倒是建議住客日後多留些時間在酒店內，體驗它們的設施，多拍些美麗的照片，相信將更物超所值！

The best mixture of minimalism and tastefulness
Same as usual, this hotel keeps so calm and cozy circumstances. It's really amazing, coz the place of this hotel is in Metro Manila. Once you stay here, you will be dazed like you are in forest. This time, I stayed at Suite room. This "Suite" does not mean the gorgeous room like ones of LasVegas. It might be better to be called "Sweet". 1 living space, 1 bed room, open bath room, and a petite balcony. It's really an appropriate space for her & him. いつも通り、このホテルは、静粛でこぢんまりとした心地よさを保っている。 メトロマニラにこんなホテルがあるなんて、実に驚かされる。 一度ここに滞在すれば、林の中にいるような気分になれるだろう。 今回、スイーツルームに滞在したが、このスイーツは決してベガスのホテルのようなスイーツではない。 "Suite"とというよりもむしろ、"Sweet"と呼んだ方がいいかもしれない。 リビングスペース、ベッドルームがそれぞれ1つ、オープンバスルームに可愛らしいバルコニーまで備わっている。 彼・彼女、もしくは仲の良い御夫妻には、これほど身の丈にあった空間はあるだろうか。

Conserving Manila’s heritage at its best.
The hotel is a rare find. The place is full of charm, luxurious and quite unique for Manila. The service is excellent. The location is a short taxi ride away from the Airport, malls and restaurants. It feels very secured inside the hotel compound. In fact, it is so secured, it feels like my old days working inside United Nation compound in Sierra Leon (I mean it in a good way). What I’m most impressed is the hotel greenery and the effort given in conserving the old mansion.
