"Avoid the restaurant at all costs... 90% of the menu is unavailable including ALL alcoholic beverages except 1 cheap wine option. Even though ALL the liquors and wines are displayed, they are for display only. The rest of the hotel was absolutely phenomenal and in a perfect location. Staff was amazing and the room was better than other places in Manila. I will stay here every time in the future. But I will just avoid dinning there. Intramuros

Step back in time within the ancient walls of Intramuros, Manila's oldest district. This 16th-century Spanish colonial gem features well-preserved fortifications, historic churches, and cobblestone streets perfect for leisurely exploration. Fort Santiago's dungeons and Manila Cathedral's baroque grandeur transport visitors through centuries of Philippine history. Kalesa horse-drawn carriages offer authentic transport through this pedestrian-friendly area. The district houses museums like Casa Manila and San Agustin Church with intricate stone carvings. Colonial-themed restaurants serve Filipino-Spanish fusion dishes in atmospheric heritage buildings where history comes alive.

Three LRT stations make it easy to explore both Ermita and beyond.

Binondo

Makati Shangri-La, Manila

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Shangrila was lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite, and we felt welcome at every point of our stay. All the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The location was perfect with multiple excellent restaurants and shopping mall and stores close by. Everything was were walking distance. The amenities and access to certain services in Shangrila were amazing, but there was a few issue with our room. Namely, our shower door had a problem closing. I requested an updated remodeled room, instead we got the oldest room and like has not been updated since the 1990s. This was requested early in advance prior to our arrival. However, the staff and location made up for it. We would happily stay here again, if they guarantee the room will be the remodeled one!"

"Belmont is conveniently located near Terminal 3. You can walk on the footbridge. The staff is so helpful. I had a golf cart ride to the elevators, and a staff member walked my heavy luggage back to the elevator when it was time for me to leave.
