The Akropolis hotel was absolutely lovely, the staff and owner Nihat were so nice, helpful and welcoming. He even played the violin which was treat! You could really tell how passionate he was about his new venture and I hope he receives all the success he and the hotel deserves. The hotel itself was beautiful and aptly named as any closer to the entrance to the cable cars to Pergamon and it would have to be listed on the ancient city’s map. If I find myself in Bergama I wouldn’t dream of...

An Unforgettable 6-Night Stay with Exceptional Staff! I recently completed a lovely 6-night stay at Hotel Alves in Izmir, and it was truly a wonderful experience - 2nd visit. From start to finish, the overall vibe of the hotel was professional yet incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my entire visit. The location is great, next to the train station for daily trips out of the city. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to Aylin and Hediye as well as the wonderful kitchen team....

Ideally situated on the edge of town for business travellers, though perhaps not best-placed fro guests without own transport, this modern hotel was stylish and comfortable. The staff were professional, yet friendly and welcoming; breakfast was adequate yet unexciting; but the best feature of my stay here was my bedroom.Whilst I much prefer the character, warmth and individuality provided by smaller Boutique Hotels, my essentially-corporate room here was large, stylish, modern and comfortable...

Decent hotel with delicious breakfast

Absolutely brilliant hotel in Manisa (half an hour from Izmir). Paid £70 per night for a family room and the hotel had a gym and pool too.
