I knew what I was getting into when I booked the room - a budget hotel with free breakfast and a pool/hot tub that was dog-friendly. Check-in was fine, the staff was very accommodating, and the room was satisfactory. I have no complaints since my expectations were not very high to begin with.
I didn't have a chance to enjoy the breakfast so I can't base my ratings on anything there, but the pool and hot tub area was very nice. The rooms and hotel in general need a LOT of updating (very outdated, old carpeting, random wiring out of place). In my room, I did not have any conditioner in the shower, which was disappointing (thank goodness I had my own leave-in) and I also did not have coffee cups, so I had to run down and grab some from the lobby. Other than that, I appreciated the microwave and fridge, the close access to everything, and the comfiness of the beds.
One other note - NOT the hotel's fault at all, but DANG - smokers need to pick up their cigarette butts (and I am a smoker!) and dog-owners need to clean up their dog poop. The back area of the hotel was a disaster - hotel guests, do better.
