"Completely dirty, stains on towels, stains on blankets, stains on the walls, holes, bad smells, leaking elevator ceiling when it rained, service was slow, everything was just terrible. When I came in to check in, no one was at the desk for a whole hour. Do not come here."

"A clean place! I didn't see any yucky corners or forgotten surfaces. I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful hotel, which also contains the Optical Museum. WOW! I love how the historical features have been preserved, and importantly the Danbury marble fireplace which is a feature of the museum. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT: after a long day of travel I wanted to hit the hot tub after dinner, but it closed at 9:00pm. If it weren't for the hot tub I would not have ended up here, so Expedia got me on...

"Covenient access"

"Stayed at the Hampton Inn Norwich and really liked the location—just a short drive from both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casino. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was a nice bonus with decent options. Great spot if you’re planning a casino trip but want a quieter, more affordable place to stay nearby."

"Room clean upon checkin, but if you want clean towels, trash emptied or more Kleenex, you have to ask at the desk! Wonder what the $ is going to for the room!? Also door to room is old, huge light gaps come thru when closed."

"Our stay here was terrible. The room didn’t look or feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned. The sink was disgusting with stains and black mildew. We chose a non-smoking room, but the room still had an odor. Also, the bedding had cigarette burns in them. It doesn’t appear that they launder their linens separately, which isn’t good for guests who are sensitive to smoke. The walls were paper thin, and we could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms. We had to call the front desk to ask if...
