"We have stayed at this hotel for 3 consecutive years since it opened. The hotel is beautiful but this year we noticed the rooms were already showing wear (we stayed in 408) . Humidity is no doubt causing problems, caulking needs to be redone, furniture marked, etc. There has been considerable personnel turnover & pool & front desk staff either have no English or didn’t understand things well. This year we stayed for 2 weeks and are still having problems trying to get reimbursed for 3 nights the hotel said (in writing) that we would not be charged for We booked thru Expedia and they have been unable to get a response from the hotel and said we must deal with them. The hotel says we must go thru Expedia. The front desk supervisor Ramon said he would arrange for accounting to reimburse, nothing happened. Try phoning the hotel direct, no response from accounting, try to talk to Ramon at front desk , he’s always busy and doesn’t return phone calls. If you have a problem while staying at the hotel, get it addressed in writing & by talking to manager before you leave. Double check your hotel invoice too as I observed another guest in dispute with charges when we were leaving "
