"Good location to access Abel Tasman National Park."

"Great room. Amazing location. Would definitely go back"

"The on-property host and manager, Valery, made the stay phenomenal; he is also a professional chef and will cook you breakfast and dinner each day using fresh and local ingredients. The property has direct access to a very private beach and offers 2 kayaks and a paddle board for you to use when desired. The views from each room are stunning with the penthouse having the best setup, followed by the jacuzzi room and then cozy room which has a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound setup. You also have...

"Lodge by the Beach was one of the most memorable lodgings we’ve ever stayed in. Designed and built by the architect-owner, Alan with industrial grade materials for safety and various art pieces brought in from overseas, the property is truly amazing. Perched atop a hill near the Split Apple Rock with breathtaking views of the ocean and lush forests, it even offers the private access to a secluded, pristine beach, which made our stay feel like a true escape from the world. The culinary...

"Really nice Lodge with breakfast included. Very quiet location where you get a good night sleep. Big, well maintained garden where you can spend time reading a book or just relax. Clean rooms, parking is free, staff was welcoming and helpful finding a good restaurant for dinner. Would book again when in the area."

"Super clean, super lovely host, couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely modern room! Fab motel!!"

"This place is perfection! The location, decor, service, food, drink, attentiveness to your comfort was impeccable. We stayed for 3 nights in the Jacuzzi Suite and the owners, Alan & Luba, made feel instantly at home. "

"i recommend this place for anyone staying in motueka "

"Worst place to stay! After a 30 day trip in all of NZ this was the worst. The food was terrible, the customer service unacceptable. I would do a day hike in the park and have the water taxi take you back to Kaiteriteri "

"Great spot for our overnight stay. Easy walk to restaurants & supermarket"

"Excellent location, service and staff. The local businesses and restaurants were great too. Thank you!"

"Apart from the mens shower having no pressure unless it was on cold, we really enjoyed the stay. My six year old loved George the horse who was very friendly and gentle. The kitchen and outdoor facilities were great. The room was clean, but we found someone else's Vaseline under the bed which was gross; when checking to see if any of our kids toys were left there."

"We enjoy a lot the time at the rocks. The bath tube outside was very nice and own glowworm caves was the hit. The hosts were every helpful and friendly"

"Incredible location and lodging! Steve was knowledgeable about the area, committed to environmental sustainability, welcoming and makes amazing pizza! Highly recommend and we will return!"
