We really wanted to leave a good review of Villa du Kapress because the staff were so lovely and overall the villa is really nice, we also had one of our best meals here while we were on St.Maarten. The Villa was also nicely located so we’re weren’t right in the craziness, but a short drive away. But, there were somethings that took away from our experience. We weren’t given any towels in our room for the stay, and the bedding in the rooms was a bit stained. It did feel a bit untidy around the Villa in common spaces too. On our last night there, the Villa hosted a wedding. We were not informed of this and there was loud music from the Wedding until 2 AM. It would have been nice to be informed. And lastly, I did get food poisoning from our breakfast on the last morning. It was the only place my boyfriend and I ate slightly differently, and I was the only one who got sick. Again, we wanted to give this place a good reviews, because it does feel like a paradise when you look around, but there were a few pieces that really took away from our stay.

Our stay here was lovely. The property itself and room was nice. The restaurant area with included breakfast was very pretty and had a lot of charm. Jennifer, the server was a friendly addition and knew our morning order by the second day. We were disappointed that by 9pm all the outdoor lights and music were shut off by the pool/courtyard. We found this to be really early, particularly after a full day when you look forward to quietly relaxing with a glass of wine. This was true all 3 evening we stayed, which was a shame as they have beautiful lighting that adds to ambiance. This place has a lot of character and charm. It was in a lovely location. I would recommend overall and was great value.

I have just experienced the most incredible villa, beach bar and restaurant of my life. All you need to remember is 978. Villa Kapresse du 978, 978 Beach Lounge and 978 Sanctorum. We started our vacation at the Villa, and from the moment we arrived we were treated to an amazing experience. Fritz the owner shows his passion for the property, staff and guests. He is going to host you like you are royalty. Our room was cool, clean and lovely with the most comfortable bed and amenities. Bianca is absolutely divine in 978 Sanctorum restaurant. She is absolutely lovely and her personality is so kind and caring. She has a wonderful laugh and smile, and her recommendations are spot on. We heard about the 978 Beach Lounge on Friars Beach, based on our fantastic experience at the Villa, we postponed Maho Beach to try the Beach Lounge. We couldn't have made a better choice. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and the location was private and beautiful. Finally, I mustn't forget about 978 Sanctorum Restaurant. Chef Loic is an unparalleled talent. From appetizer, to main and onto dessert, my taste buds and olfactory senses were taken to Heaven. I will return here time after time until I can no longer travel. Perfection is 978.

We had a wonderful six night stay recently. The owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The property is lovely with a very relaxing vibe, and lots of attention to detail. The food was excellent. My boyfriend appreciated the cigar lounge. We rented a car and found it accessible to beaches and restaurants for the evening. We would definitely go back! Merci for a wonderful stay!

It was like coming home! Villa Kapresse not only met our expectations, but surpassed them. We felt right at home from the very first night. We had dinner at the restaurant, which kicked off a perfect stay. The food was delicious and the ambiance was so relaxing. The continental breakfast was more than we could want, delicious fresh bread and our fruit and yoghurt bowls were excellent. The staff is beyond friendly and super helpful with ideas for things to do during the stay. Our room was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. The AC and fan worked great and the terrace was a nice surprise. The entire Villa is well maintained so we felt like we were in an exclusive space on the island. The location was perfect as we were centrally located. If you want a real home experience of St Martin, instead of the same ‘ol tourist stay, then book a stay at the Villa. You won’t regret it. Special thanks to Yohan and Jenifer (hope I spelled it correctly). We will be back and book here again!

I have stayed at Villa Kaprese twice in the last month - it is a delightful property that feels like home. Johann, the manager and the rest of the staff are welcoming and kind. The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is substantial and the garden/pool area is a great place to relax and unwind. I’ve found my spot in St. Martin!
