"B&B Le Cycas was a gem! The location is perfect with excellent on-site parking and easy access to train and bus stops—just 15 minutes to Naples, Sorrento, or Pompeii. The B&B has a clean, authentic, and romantic vibe, with great AC and a delicious breakfast. Antonella, the sweet and helpful landlady, made our stay even better. We loved it so much we stayed a second night and even made a trip to Capri. Highly recommend!"

"What a beautiful hotel on the beach! The staff was excellent! The rooms are spacious and clean. The rooms were quiet and peaceful. The bar was well stocked and decent snacks accompanied the drinks. The location is great for creating a home base for day trips from this spot! Unfortunately, the area does not have great restaurants. So make sure to plan meals elsewhere or bring something into the room and enjoy a very romantic occasion on one's private balcony. "

"Very convenient location to the train station, grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. We were able to get to all our destinations very easily (Pompei, Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano). Our host Francesco was very helpful in answering all our questions. Town feels very safe. Building entrance is run down but the actual flat is quite nice. Only thing missing is an iron for clothes. Great stay! "

"We only stayed one night but the hotel was in a great location, 6 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the archaeological site entrance. The hotel was very clean, modern and our room was a great size to include an extra bed for our son, table and chairs to sit at and a kitchenette. We found both beds to be very comfortable. "

"We chose this place to be close to Pompei and Vesuvius, and avoid having to pay for parking elsewhere. Parking space available but quite tight. Helpful welcome on arrival. Location was just 10 mins walk from entrance to Pompei site entrance. Kitchen had enough equipment for our stay and washing machine very useful. "Truly a hidden gem. The staff is very welcoming and tended to all our needs. The breakfast is nice. The rooms are cozy, bathroom very sleek and clean. The location is walking distance from the shoreline and the metro so exploring everything the coast had to offer was easy. I wouldn’t stay at any other hotel now that I’ve been to it."

Under such circumstances I asked the host to cancel my reservation in order I could book another place. But the host refused to do that!
