"The Kinney Hotel was exactly what we wanted - simple, clean, spacious, with secure parking. The room had everything we needed and felt really comfortable. The standout however was definitely the location - it is right off of Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Overall it was a really positive experience and I'd definitely consider coming back when visiting Los Angeles. "

"The check-in process was amazing and they even allowed us an early check-in when we got into town sooner than expected. Access and directions to the location were easy to follow. Area was decorated and well maintained and in such an amazing location towards the beach. I would definitely recommend this place for small groups that are traveling together."

"This was a great no-frills stay: very clean, spacious, and simple room; very friendly and helpful front-desk staff (shoutout to John and another employee — they were both great!); and an overall-safe feeling (besides one section of rooms that face the street, you had to use your hotel key to access the internal hallways). Parking on site was also included, which was a huge perk. I’d stay again!"

"It’s right on the beach! Has a nice outside seating area. Reserved paid parking ($20, worth it!). Right around the corner from Washington Square. Location, beach, nice staff make this a great Venice Beach stay."

"The hotel room was clean and looked as it did in the photos, however, I did not appreciate that the exterior and location of the hotel DID NOT RESEMBLE the AI generated photos depicted on Expedia. The hotel's exterior looks worn and SKETCHY in person and I would never have chosen to stay there had I known that. Expedia is shameless for engaging in this type of fraudulent practice. That was the whole point obviously -- to trick naive travelers into booking a room at this place. Next time, I'll...
