"The bartenders were all fantastic. The carpet in our room was torn and needs mending. Beware, the valet and overnight parking is $52.00 a night. Across the street is $6.00. Overall we had a nice stay and will go back."

"This was a great no-frills stay: very clean, spacious, and simple room; very friendly and helpful front-desk staff (shoutout to John and another employee — they were both great!); and an overall-safe feeling (besides one section of rooms that face the street, you had to use your hotel key to access the internal hallways). I was a little nervous from seeing some bad reviews but I got the private room with private bathroom and the room was absolutely perfect, lots of light (beach view), really clean. The view of the beach was absolutely amazing and I am 1000% going to stay here next time I go to LA. It’s an amazing hotel and the staff were nice and friendly"
