"The Foghorn Harbor Inn is an excellent value. It's not fancy, but it has all the things we look for in a reasonably priced motel: it's clean, it has in-room refrigerators and microwaves, the bed is large and comfortable, the staff is welcoming and responsive, there is 24-hour coffee and small snacks. Also, it's quite well situated. We had a meeting in Marina del Rey, but also visited Beverly Hills (about half an hour) and downtown LA (about 35 minutes), depending on the time of day, of course."

"My stay at the Inn was excellent. Room was clean, quiet, and spacious and staff were friendly and professional. The included breakfast had a good variety of fresh fruits, breads, granola and the cooked to order eggs were delicious. The property had beautiful views of the wetlands and was a great opportunity for birdwatchers. Especially loved the dining room porch views! Would stay here again."

"Housekeeper knocked on my door and within 5 seconds of knocking, entered my room. I was on my way to open the door and see who was there.. when you knock, you should give the guest a moment to respond before entering. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay. Rooms have a weird smell, however did appear clean. Bedding was uncomfortable, a fleece blanket is a questionable choice for a hotel in Los Angeles… Overall, it was a cheap stay so worth the price. I personally would not stay again, as I felt unsafe and mislead by recent reviews saying the place was updated. It is not. It is very much a cheap motel and that’s what you will pay for and get."
