"We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family."

"I had a super chill fun stay. It was a fly by destination for me on my way to Charlotte, NC. I got there early so I had a chance to explore the park and river that are super close. The place was clean. The room was big and the staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Loved the restaurant and bar within the property as it is next to a river and has outside seating. The ducks will keep you entertained, lol! Our room was very small and first room off the elevator. We heard plenty of late night conversations after hours. There was a noise machine available at the bedside and a very nice touch.
