"My party did not use the parking facilities. However the staff, on entry were more welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy. The big drawback was the amount of time it took to get warm (not hot) water at the sink. This was overcome by boiling water with the kettle; not an efficient way to achieve the result. Also having no sink plug was also wasteful. At least I overcame that obstacle because I travel with a universal plug. The shower head position made it impossible to stand beneath whilst...

"Stayed here as my little girl played at the hive and we needed somewhere close by. Parked on the drive way right outside the door, keys were in a key safe and details were sent on the day how to get in the safe. The hallway as you enter is spotless, as was our room, tea, coffee, water and a fridge in the room. Very pleasant place to stay, paid £60 for a Wednesday night, knowing what i know now i think it's a bargain. Highly recommended. "

"The room was not as clean as you would expect, especially at a property in the class. I had to pick up rubbish from the side of the bed. The shower drain was not working properly and was not fixed despite notifying the staff about it. No one would answer the phone at either the reception or the housekeeping so had to come in person at the reception to request amenities that housekeeping had forgotten to replenish during the daily cleaning. Overall, an underwhelming stay at a Crowne Plaza."

I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. "We only had a quick overnight stay for the hospital the next day. The place looked amazing — it was smart and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly, no messing about. The room was perfect for what we needed. The only complaint was that there were no plugs by the bedside table. But overall, we were really happy with our stay and would recommend it"
