Accueil très froid à notre arrivée car nous avions 40 minutes d’avance sur l’heure officielle de Check in. Hôtel full donc nous n’avons pas eu la chambre réservée (pas de balcon). Avec un enfant de 6 ans allant au lit à 20h c’était un must pour avoir un semblant de soirée. Réveil à 22h le premier soir par la femme de chambre. Puis à 23h par un vacarme assourdissant: DJ set sous nos fenêtres qui a duré jusqu’au petit matin. Le lendemain on nous a changés de chambre mais pas au Palais Impérial, au Lounge & Spa. Cette fois ci, orchestre du restaurant sous nos fenêtres. Hôtel à déconseiller si vous êtes à la recherche de calme et de service. Les personnes de la sécurité à l’entrée et la dame s’occupant des VIPs ont fait exception à la règle et ont été sympathiques et efficaces.

Votre expérience semble avoir été loin de l'ambiance relaxante et paisible que vous espériez. L'accueil froid e.t le manque de flexibilité par rapport à votre arrivée anticipée sont décevants, tout comme les perturbations sonores tardives dues au DJ set et à l'orchestre. Il est également regrettable que vous n'ayez pas pu bénéficier de la chambre réservée avec balcon, ce qui aurait été idéal pour vous et votre enfant. Je vais transmettre vos commentaires à notre équipe de gestion pour qu'ils puissent prendre des mesures correctives et améliorer nos services. Néanmoins, je suis heureux de savoir que certaines personnes du personnel ont été aimables et serviables, même si cela n'a pas suffi à compenser les inconvénients rencontrés. Merci d'avoir partagé votre avis, et j'espère que nous aurons l'opportunité de regagner votre confiance lors d'un prochain séjour. The property is very nice, the recepcionist were not so nice to welcome us, I asked for a luxury room with 2 beds, never change us for one bed, the bedroom did not have coffe machine, I asked every day for it, never have it, and we have the last room of the building, 7 min walk to the restaurant for breakfast

Stunning building and is high end luxury in the lobbies and stunning grounds, but room was very basic compared to the expected standards. Staff super friendly, respectful and helpful. Bed was so great and comfortable. Just felt for the price and expected 5 star experience it fell short of the mark for me.

Outstanding! Although the property is impeccable, the staff of the Sofitel is what makes this hotel a wonderful and memorable stay. Hachim at the concierge desk took care to answer all of our queries in detail (and we had many!); Nouredine at the main restaurant remembered our orders and provided top notch service. Ashamed of Sofitel
Sofitel should be ashamed to have their name on this business. The service needs a full turnover or major training, at the very least. It is a very noisy hotel, including them doing industrial carpet cleaning at 1:30 am. We had to move rooms 3 times and never got a decent night’s sleep. If you have a choice, go elsewhere. You will thank me for it.

J'aime les hôtels Sofitel, leur propreté, leur confort et la qualité du service qu'ils offrent. Je n'ai pas trouvé cela au Sofitel de Marrakech. L'impression générale - peut-être en raison d'un long congé au Maroc lors de notre séjour - était d'être dans un hôtel "tout inclus" de bord de mer. Cela dit, au delà du désordre lors des petits-déjeuners et autour de la piscine, l'hôtel est défraichi et pas très propre. Tout est brun et sombre, les corridors, les chambres, les meubles. Tout. Le manque d'éclairage est parfois étonnant. Ainsi, dans l'ascenseur vers la piscine, il fallait utiliser mon téléphone pour sélectionner l'étage. Dans notre chambre (36x), tant la toilette que la douche n'étaient pas très propres. Au petit-déjeuner, la table n'avait pas été bien nettoyée et malgré nos demandes le seul café qui nous a été servi était à peine buvable. Tout ça est vraiment décevant, car j'ai toujours aimé mes séjour dans les Sofitel avant cette visite à Marrakech. Sofitel, vous pouvez faire tellement mieux!

Disappointing room quality
Overall, the service was good. However, the rooms were overpriced for an outdated style, very small, and poorly lit. The room quality was not up to par; we actually considered leaving after checking into the hotel.

Stressful experience
I have going to Sofitel since 8 years and I could not believe the terrible experience with had me and my son. It used to be a Lovely hotel with great service but I must admit that the level of service has changed a lot! This is definitely not a 5 star level of service! I booked a Junior Suite 6 weeks in advance and specifically requested a beautiful view on the garden and Swimming pool so I can check my son. Instead we had a junior suite very dark, I felt in a cave with view on a concrete roof of the parking. I mediately requested another room. We arrived at 5.30 pm after a long plane journey and my son was looking forward to jump in the pool. Instead it took 2 hours and half to check in o finally placed us in a decent room they charged us 1,500 Dirham extra per night! We were there to relax on holiday but instead we had the laundry service knocking at our door and stepped in directly inside our room without our permission at 8am! And to make sure we were not going back to relax then they called at 8.15 am to explain why they entered our room without permission! This happened also in the evening when I showered before getting ready for dinner and I heard voices in my room. It was the room service checking from inside my room if I needed something ! And just to wrapped up the quality of service: I made sure our luggage and taxi from the hotel (which is 3 times the price of a normal taxi so you would expect high service.) were ready exactly at 4.45 pm to take us to the air

The property is quite nice… the arrival is beautiful and after a long trip it was nice to finally arrive home for the next 10 days! The hotel staff is welcoming and hotel smells great all setting a great start to the vacation! The room is pleasantly appointed although it is getting a little dated and will need some refreshing soon! However everything is clean although the rug appears to have a stains it is still ok. We also took the option of including the breakfast buffet with the room! I this trip I booked two rooms … the first few mornings are great with a well organized breakfast room allowing to have breakfast outside on the lanai covered from the hot sun… the breakfast buffet is well set up .. as this room is expressly made for this with orderly breakfast stations and something for every taste! The service is great and very attentive! This unfortunately does not last for our entire stay as the breakfast room is made unavailable to guests as a large group is coming in and headed to the hotel and will now be exclusively using this location! Breakfast for guests is moved to a second level which is clearly not prepared for the breakfast crowd.. interior room is somewhat limited and outside patio is not equipped with only 4 or 6 sun umbrellas leaving most people simply sitting in the direct sun for breakfast… although the staff are trying to make this work the buffet is oddly set up, things are not tidy and tables dirty! Not to the standard of this hotel chain!

Hotel was very nice. Adil greated us at the front desk and was very welcoming, went over the top to make us feel welcome. Only down side was the strange rule of no outside food or drinks - including milk for our 1 year old.

The hotel is in a great location the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There is a good selection at the breakfast buffet the pool and gardens are delightful and the food at the poolside restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately the hotel is let down by the reception staff. I had requested rooms with a view which meant a high floor prior to arrival .We were given ground floor rooms on arrival and had to move the following day. Reception staff did not deal with the request or any request well.Their attitude was haughty and unhelpful.

Magnifique hôtel avec un jardin luxuriant et de très belles piscines dont une est chauffée et c’est dommage pour les autres piscines le bémol aussi on a séjourné dans des chambres au Rez de chaussée qui sont sombres alors que les chambres côté piscine sont bien mieux au niveau luminosité Mais reste un des meilleurs hôtels qu’on a fréquenté car nous voyageons beaucoup dans le monde

Problème chambres Sofitel
Nous avons eu une suite junior Problème de fuite d’eau dans les toilette et problème de fermeture de la porte du balcon donc impossible de dormir avec le sifflement . Je les signaler dès mon arrivée et il nous ont changer de chambres le dernier jours .
