Inside our room, we found old very stained unholstered chair, and a very filthy dirty bathroom with black mold in the shower, under soap holder, in every crack and crevice of the bathroom (which was everywhere), black mold in the window area and floor boards. "Good location. Small cramped room. The room was clean. There is limited parking so if you do not get a spot, you have to find a spot on your own. There is some urban noise and there was some maintenance work being done at the motel so there was some noise at around 8:30 AM. With all due respect (and not the fault of the owners) I likely will not choose to stay here again. Just was not a comfortable stay for me."

"Such a clean and charming bed and breakfast with so much character. The shared spaces are welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic each and every day! The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of food options and corner stores nearby. If you drive here, parking is challenging but not impossible I look forward to staying here again in the future."

"Location was great. Rooms are small. No closets- just a bar to hang items on. Bathroom is small, but adequate with a spacious shower. Small kitchenette/bar with sink, doubled as a vanity for me. Full length mirror was right across from it. Unique room layout with windows that look out over the hallways to an open courtyard so we had to keep the blinds down for privacy all the time. "Beautiful historic, loved its charm and location to the park across the street. Older hotel, so it did not have air-conditioning. During our trip it was pretty overcast and chilly, but our bedroom got very hot during the night. We had to use multiple portable fans. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got the one bedroom suite, perfect amount of room for our family of four."

"I stayed during the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and the location was perfect. Trek bike shop near by, food not far away and close to race start. The staff were great, rooms were big and bus stop out the front. It really was the best spot for this race. The bath was good post race as well. Overall highly recommend!"

"No carafe in the guest rooms. So, bring your own water bottle for refill. Refill stations only on 2 floors. No coffee or tea in rooms. Parking is best at the Japan Center. Pay more and park at the hotel but don't forget to book the parking at the time of reservation to avoid full lot on the day of arrival."
