"Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room. "A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub. The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. She worked wonders our rooms was spotless. We had a lovely stay with a great breakfast. Will definitely go back. We had three rooms and "

"Nice room. Comfortable bed. Great gym. Staff very helpful. Hotel a little tired in places, however overall a really enjoyable stay. The EV Car charging stations are the most expensive I’ve seen anywhere, charge beforehand!"

"We had a lovely stay at China Fleet Club. The staff were professional, friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. Unfortunately, we had no hot water when we arrived, but after reporting the issue it was fixed within about an hour, which we appreciated. I also had a massage during our stay, and Emma was wonderful – very professional and made the experience incredibly relaxing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would happily return."

"Loved the fact my partner and I had a double bed each in the same room. We need single beds but to find the room had 2 doubles giving us a fabulous sleep was a bonus. We were visiting friends so cannot comment on other aspects of the hotel as out for most of the time. Great position, walking to the Barbican was easy too."
