"My room was no where near clean. Not only was there multiple urine stains on the toilet seat, there was also a fecal stain that was also not cleaned IN the toilet. How do you not clean the TOILET? "

"My room was supposed to be non-smoking but it wasn't and stunk of cigarettes. When I got there I rang the doorbell to check in, after several time someone showed up and the first thing he said was do you have a reservation? The towels were thin, I had only one washcloth, and there was soap but no shampoo. The ice machine was locked. There was no breakfast, not even coffee! At 8 AM for checking out there was no one at the desk for me to drop my car off with and I was not about to leave it in...

"Our group of 6 girlfriends had an amazing stay at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina. From the moment we arrived, we knew the weekend was going to be very special. The staff was always warm & welcoming. "This look like it was a newer property, which is very nice, but we did have a issue. There were black bugs. Found one on the bed and the other in the bathroom, I’m assuming because the room on the first floor. "

"The rooms were clean although some spots (like the shower head) could have used some upgrades. The pool was small but it worked well and was warm. Unfortunately, the walls were thin because if your neighbor decided to be loud, you could easily hear it. The breakfast was great although while we were there, the warm food choices ran out. The staff we interacted with were pleasant. And parking was easy. I would recommend this hotel for a quick stop like we used it for. "
