"There was a line at check in, I guess a full house. Friendly staff. Power for the entire motel was out between about 9:00 pm and midnight, so could not use WiFi or watch tv. Also no AC, and outside temp had been 98 degrees! Fortunately I brought a flashlight so I could take a shower. Bed was very firm, too firm for my liking! When the power was restored, a few lights came on, so another 30 minutes of sleep lost. Old firefighter response to lights coming on at night, up for another emergency call...

"Pros: Room was cramped but clean. Refrigerator was a good size and had a small freezer. The hotel is walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Bishop is a cute little town with beautiful views of the mountains. Cons: The bed was uncomfortable and the blow dryer didn't work."

"Only reason I gave 3 is because the toilet and shower were clean and no bed bugs and it was the cheapest place in town. Otherwise would have been lower. I guess you get what you pay for. Floor was so dirty our feet were black after walking from shower to bed. So needed to rewash feet and wear shoes between bathroom and bed. Phone in room didn’t work and wifi only free for one hour. Will not be staying here again."

"Well I will let you know it is the cheapest hotel in all of Bishop. I know it's not the Ritz-Carlton or any higher end hotel, but it does the trick if you're on a budget. The AC was cold, the water pressure was good and The temperature was hot. And for the most part, it was a clean room. I will know that the floors were a little bit dirty cuz every time I walked on it barefoot, there was a dark smoot over it. Also the noise level at night was pretty much to a minimum. Will I stay there again,...

"Don't inflate your expectations. This is a typical motel. However, the place was clean and well maintained. The people in the market (where you check in and out) are very friendly and helpful if you ask for anything. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well - totally necessary as it was 100° in June when I went. The room had a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge (the little freezer compartment actually worked)! It seems bare bones, but the rooms have everything you need. The market...
