"There are a couple of grocery stores nearby and the prices are normal, even cheaper than back in Canada, since the place is not in a tourist area. The host was very nice and was very proactive at giving us directions and figuring out the best routes. We stayed at a lower priced room on our second night and they helped us by moving our things so we wouldn't miss our tour. "Very clean and tidy hotel, modern, we had the room with the hot tub and the room was a very good size, the hot tub was lovely, bed slightly firm for my liking but that's personal taste, breakfast was enjoyable every morning up stairs on the top floor. Hotel was within walking distance of the Metro A, and only a 30 minutes walk from Rome Termini which we did to and from the hotel, I have already recommended this hotel to friends and would stop here again without hesitation "

"First, let me say that my interactions with staff were minimal and uneventful. My biggest issue with service is their decision not to refund my reservation after deciding minutes later we wouldn’t stay due to the conditions we weren’t aware of (didn’t even enter one unit as the code didn’t work). Advertised pictures are definitely misleading, completely different than our experience upon arrival. The outside is full of graffiti, trash, foul odors and unhomed individuals. Unfortunately not...

However, as soon as we got to the house we were told by Paolo we had to pay a €150 “city tax” mentioned no where on the listing. Additionally, one morning, one of the workers came in to the apartment without knocking as we were sleeping to “clean”, which was jarring and suspicious as we were a group of young girls in a new country.
