"We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time."

"My stay at the Mercure suited me perfectly. I was close to the train station so I could easily walk up & travel to Glasgow, and also have a pleasant stroll along the promenade. The polite barman ensured I had a nice glass of wine to relax at the end of the day. The reception staff gave me a cheery welcome back wave me when I returned in the evening. "This is a hotel that is staffless, and has no front check in desk. It totally relies on technology for checking in and out, and that is a problem in an area with weak Wi-Fi. I would not stay again. We had a problem when we arrived with not having sheets, pillows, and blankets on a pull out bed gor my granddaughter and it took several hours of trying to contact a live person to get them to come to the "hotel", and fix the issue. I stayed In a single room which was just right and a shared bathroom. TV, single bed, wardrobe, sink and mirror, along with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious."
