"Staff was really nice"

"Out dated rooms. Carpet was dirty. Breakfast was very basic. Tried to cancel after the first night and manager advised they had a 4 night minimum and didn’t offer anything. Air conditioner in the room broke last night we stayed there. They again didn’t offer anything to resolve this issue. Advised us to just leave it turned off and it would work again. It never did! Poor experience."

"The employee who was working in the breakfast area was very attentive. She noticed that I was packing my oatmeal to go because I’m diabetic and can only eat at certain times; So she quickly provided me with what I needed without even asking her."

"Ok Where to begin. The room was great,the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. However: the place in general was gross. The smell of water damage was present and there was only 1 elevator for the entire North tower. One guy said they are there every year and it has been like that for 3 years now. The elevator was smelly and kinda scary. I believe it used to be the service elevator. There was mold on the walls in the laundry room,there were panels of sheetrock missing and the new Sheetrock...

"Decent place, the staff was very polite and professional. I did not have the AM buffet so I cannot comment on that. My room could use a refresh, some fresh paint, shampoo the carpet, etc. The room was NOT dirty, just needs a little TLC. I would stay there again"

"Room was ok for a one night stay. Water pressure in bathroom sink very low. No bars or hooks to hang towels in bathroom."

"They gave my room key to an old man who walked in as I was changing Then when we got the room situation settled my room key did not work And later when I got back from my college reunion my key would t work again at midnight Two lights were put in the room The tub had peeling paint in the tub It was gross "

"Property was lovely either the plants. Enjoyed sitting by fire pit. Pool was unable the night we were there. Rooms spacious but a little dated. Breakfast was good. Coffee was very good."

"AC was effective and quiet. Pillows were not very comfortable. Would have liked a couple firm and a couple soft. I liked having the choice of eggs and sausage at breakfast. OJ was good."

"There are some cockroaches in the rooms. Furthermore, the cleaning staff tried to steal some belongings I had forgotten behind; when I went to claim them, the receptionist behaved very rudely. They wouldn't let me enter my room at 10:00 a.m., claiming they had already cleaned it—even though I hadn't yet returned the key or formally checked out. The checkout time is supposed to be 11:00 a.m."

"This is my preferred hotel in Topeka. The rooms and hotel property are consistently clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant options are pretty good."

"The local was good other than that the bathroom floor in the room was falling apart. The room had flys pool and workout room was closed coffee was cold and was going to take a hour to get fresh."

"Very strange bathroom. Sink in the room, closet type area for toilet and shower. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was limited. Staff was very nice and friendly."

"My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Topeka, from the moment we arrived. We were impressed with the staff and how they made thing so welcoming, they were professional and extremely helpful. I loved that this hotel was close to restaurants, shopping and local attractions."
