"I will start by saying that I would highly recommend the 1 Hotel Mayfair. The staff are lovely & the rooms are great. This is my 3rd stay there & it didn’t go quite as well as it has in the past. I always bring my dog with me and they usually provide dog wipes so that you can wipe off their feet before entering the hotel room and those were unfortunately not provided this time and they said that they didn’t have them. "Although our room was spartan in decoration, the staff were exceedingly friendly, kind, and accommodating. I would have liked a bit more storage space and two bottles of water rather than one. The rooms were made up quickly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar had a tremendous selection and a knowledgeable bartender. Also, the food was very tasty. The concierge was a miracle worker. I recommend staying at this hotel."

"The staff are really nice and friendly, but the service itself is inconsistent; sometimes the staff fail to respond to requests.
The rooms are good size but not spacious with issues in the design, such as window not opening because it’s blocked by curtain rail, or if you open closet door it blocks bathroom entrance, pound sound from aircon, etc.
Most rooms have a terrible view, with some you cannot even open the curtain, such as room on ground floor with window overlooking hotel restaurant!...
