"The place was not clean and smelled like a damp basement with paint peeling in the corner of the room. The toilet was not attached to the floor, and the Television did not work. The bed was really comfortable though."

The bathroom door frame was loose and made a very loud noise every time the door opened. Breakfast was also sub-par. The biggest concern was that staff told someone else what room we were staying in. Even though it was someone we knew, that felt like a real breach of privacy and trust. There were some positives: the room had a Keurig and fridge, the waffle maker was...

"This is a great little place to stay between KC and STL. Its in a small quiet town with a few places to eat. The hotel has been renovated and my room was clean and comfortable. Support this local business!"

All the staff are friendly and helpful. I was impressed by the brightly lit parking lot. I feel very safe staying here."

"This was a scary stay. I told my kids that I thought that I was staying at the Bates Motel (google the movie Psycho if you are not familiar). It is in a desolate area and gave off a creepy vibe. The parking lot has huge potholes. The room itself was pretty good. I have no complaints there. No coffee or breakfast available in the morning. Good internet connection, which was an issue with other hotels that I have stayed at. I would not stay here again."
