My objection is that when my husband and I had been asleep for about 45 minutes, our phone started ringing and when I answered it, I was told that there were complaints that we had loud music coming from our room. We’re in our mid 70s and loud music at that time of night is not something that would happen. I believe that a staff member should’ve come up to the room and listened at door to see what room...

"Parts of Emeryville may be a little iffy and it seems true for the outskirts of where this hotel is located. However, they take precautions to help provide peace of mind and safeguard their guests’ safety, which u super appreciate - security guard patrolling the parking lot at night and access to the elevator with a hotel key cards. While the outside might look a bit worn, don’t judge a book by its cover. The interior of this hotel has been renovated and is in great shape. Staff is attentive...

"It was a walkable area and I found it was easy to figure out how to use the bus and transit system! A few bars and restaurants near by in a 10 min walking distance down Broadway. Trips into the city of San Francisco was as easy as taking the BART station nearby! Save your money and time and take advantage of the all day pass and public transit in the city "

"Bathroom was moldy and shower and tub were filthy with black scum in crevices. Hair on the floor indicated that it wasn’t swept after the last guest. Otherwise it was basic and gave what I needed which was a cheap roof, bed, shower. The front office person was accommodating."
