"If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

"Overall staff was not very outgoing, but one did help when our key card stopped working. Room big and clean, would have appreciated more choices for breakfast, and having earlier breakfast hours would be helpful. Quiet place!"

"This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. The owners helped us bring in our luggage and showed us around the house. They told us about the history as well as how to maximize our stay in Gettysburg. They found an...
