"This is a lovely hotel with fitness club, golf course, etc.. We didn't use any of these as we were just passing through. Very nice room and surroundings. One thing could be done to improve the experience - clean the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfasting room."

However with the ‘spa’ being separate and an eye watering £50 for 3 or 4 hours I decided to decline this option (and leave it to the Hen Parties). "I stayed here with colleagues whilst attending a corporate golf day. Whilst we ate in the Clubhouse at the organisd BBQ, the food was extremely well prepared and tasted good. The hotel rooms were very clean, fairly spacious with adaquate refreshments on offer. I've stayed here several times and the price reflect the standard of what you get."

"I want to give a really balanced view about The Stone House Hotel. I was staying for two nights on business and I found all of the colleagues that worked there to be extremely friendly and helpful. Now it has turned into a Spa Resort, great for those who like and want to be pampered, no problems there, but we did find the restaurants evening menu is now very restricted for choice., plus there was always cold blasts of air, making it very uncomfortable to dine.
