The beach is not suitable for swimming due to heavy surf and a strong side current but Talpe beach a 1.5k walk or tuk-tuk away has a safe beach behind a reef. "

We had a room facing the road and it was quite loud bout with earplugs it was absolutely fine. Breakfast was amazing, fruit, porridge, eggs, pancakes etc. Locations was also good, away from busy crowds but only a short walk to more restaurants and shops. Pool was clean and taken care of.
