Hyatt House South Melbourne
Room was clean and spacious, with plenty of space to move around. Made to order breakfast was tasty and fresh. Buffet had limited options but still good enough to satisfy the different tastes in our family. Plenty of roadside parking but it's 2p and free after 6pm to 8am and on the weekend.

The Kinson
In no world is this a 5 star hotel. It was a bit run down and cleanliness could definitely be improved. I would have been ok with it as-is as a 3 star hotel, but with the expectation of 5 stars, it was disappointing.

Canterbury International Hotel
No bar/restaurant as advertised! Very noisy room - no attempt at noise cancelling! Tiny towels!! Cheap without the cheerful … shabby without the chic … definitely not going back - ever!!

Cosmopolitan Hotel and Apartments
In the first few days of the stay I spilled some water on the bathroom floor. I wiped it up with a towel and was surprised how dirty the towel then was. It appears the bathroom floor had not been cleaned in some time.
