An amazing great-value find. Nervous about shared amenities? Don’t be, the bathrooms are spacious, private and spotless, always. The bedroom was on the Small side but one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. We-appointed with desk & TV, it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen/lounge was well stocked with tea, coffee etc and comfortable to lounge in. Having the bistro and bar downstairs was great, and the Rump steak perfectly cooked. Huge thanks to Marty, Arjun and Julie who were a great laugh and really helpful. Will be back.

I liked the location as it was close to the airport, however it is also close to the train station, trams and main roads and the noise from all of these can be annoying.

We were extremely happy with our family stay at the Royal Hotel for the weekend after coming from Geelong. The bed was very comfortable, staff were fantastic and the room was really great. We also had dinner in the bistro with our appreciated drink cards. The food was really good and reasonable also I thought. We talked about staying again. All is great for the price. Thank you
