When we first got there we were given a room but asked would we like a room on the first floor close to the door. We said yes but wasn’t told that it was dogs on that floor right across from us. So we had to deal with a lot of barking. Then housekeeping did lousy jobs of cleaning the room to where I had to go and ask them for a broom and rag to clean the counter top. The day of cleaning they mop the floor but didn’t sweep the floor. Also one day a lady from the front desk came and knocked on my door to tell me that it’s no cooking allowed and it was food that I had bought from my auntie house and warmed it up in the microwave. Just accusing you for stuff and not even truly knowing. On top of they didn’t pick up trash every day.

The room wasn’t all that for the money paid it reminded me of a motel very low budget the room could’ve been cleaned better there was a stain on one of the beds and the mirrors looked like they cleaned it with anything smudges all over no bugs so I guess that was the plus would I go back highly unlikely
Not sure what this is but that was one of the stains
This is how the bathroom mirror looked as well
I’m not sure if it wasn’t cleaned or it’s just old

Faucet handle didnt stay up in room, room wouldnt go below 83 degree on heat setting, stained bedding, overall was very old and run down. Staff was nice.

There was a roach in the 1st room in the bathroom! Walked in my daughter thought it was a spider! I go to kill the spider and behold it’s a freaking roach! Immediately with coats and bags still on and in hand walked right out! I was told I couldn’t get a refund and was offered a room next door! No I don’t want to be next door! The lady told me well it’s no refund! So I just got another room on the 3rd fl. I was so upset and disgusted! I didn’t even sleep stayed up all night watching everything! That new room didn’t even look clean either. Dirty coach pillows and also stained towels! Very disgusting! Do Not Stay here!

The room was ok. I booked a king suite and received a king handicap suite. Didn’t notice a difference until I went to take a shower and by that time I wasn’t changing rooms. Just lucky I am short. Bathroom sink faucet was messed up. Shampoo and conditioner coming out of the wall the screws weee missing so it was hanging. I didn’t inform the hotel but figured you get what you pay for. Garbage outside around the entrances other than that safe spot and friendly staff. They did accommodate me in asking for a late check out so that was appreciated.

Stay was okay. Our room’s bathroom sink lever did not stay up when trying to use it. So, that did not make it easy to wash hands or brush teeth. However, we only stayed a night, so, we just made it work. Also, the bedroom’s TV was not working properly as when we tried to search channels there was a poor connection. Lastly, my family and I went to the pool and although the water was warm and that was a positive for my children, we could see that the pull was dirty and some debris was in it. Overall, the continental breakfast wasn’t bad and the coffee was surprisingly good. The location in Merriville is convenient as it was around similar hotels as well as close to plenty of shopping and dining.

Do not stay here. We have never seen a more dirty hotel. Garbage in the room. Broken doors and poor lighting. Dirt everywhere. Very bad smell. Absplutley terrible!

It was not worth the money and I stayed for two nights. The pool area was not clean with hair and food on the floor, but the pool was clean but cold until my body got use to it the website mentioned heated pool very misleading. I was not able to take the free breakfast to my room a hotel attendant took a bag of unwashed apples and dumped them into a bowl so I did not eat the breakfast the following day. Lastly peeling paint was hanging above the hotel shower head in the room I was occupying. I really enjoyed the pool and got in every chance I had. Friendly hotel attendants very welcoming.

Room was dirty, Checked in late and didn’t have energy to switch rooms. Breakfast was very limited half of items were not out. Have stayed multiple times at this property for travel and won’t be staying again. Find another place if possible.
