The property is well located and safe. The are a lot of walkable options. The room upgrade was the same room, but it allowed us to be on 14th floor which was nice because the advertising as soundproof rooms is incorrect. You can hear everything from traffic to people slamming their doors in the hall to voices in the next room. The kitchenette was a nice feature and why we chose this hotel, aside from the soundproof rooms advertisement, but they do not supply dish soap, sponge, and kitchen towel. They give you 2 complimentary pods for coffee, but then you have to buy more. Because you can't wash your own dishes, you are limited to actually using the kitchen. There is only one frying pan as well.
The in room service was expensive - we arrived late and thought we could take advantage of the VIP 20% discount. They didn't include the discount. We had ordered two plates of churros that tasted like chicken wings. They said they would credit us, but instead of giving us a full credit for a breakfast we ordered, they only discounted us 35%. I had asked the front desk about it and the 20% discount before ordering breakfast otherwise they would not refund the money. It was credit only. It was pretty disappointing and poor business practice.
The staff is really nice and professional overall. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you want to stay here, just know that it's pretty loud and don't order room service. We won't be staying here again after this experience, to be honest.
