THIEVES - the maid service stole my black business notebook. Well, they took the notebook and the $1400 in crisp hundreds that I had brought to spend on my trip. . After I checked out Christmas Eve day, I realized I left the black notebook on a black top table in the room. About three hours after checking out I ubered back to the hotel, somewhat in a panic obviously, and advised the staff at the front desk. they got on the phone with different people and it's all seemed so very confusing, like no one’s ever left anything in our room before, ever, in their hotel, they finally went to the room, (wouldn’t allow me to accompany to the room), which was curious, and after going to to the room they said they didn't see it on the table. More phone calls and whispering and walking into another room to talk to whoever, they then told me that the particular manager, the only one who could help me further, wasn't there and couldn't be reached by phone and maybe the notebook was in a locked room but Alexandra Gonzales is the only possible one who could help me with my issue and she’s the only one with a key. They said she’d be there at 8 AM the next morning, so I ubered back to the hotel at 8:15am then next day. She was gonna be late I was told. Hmm. Called and emailed several timessince and nothing …. Merry Christmas with the money they stole from me on Christmas Eve day. Thanks for getting back with me Alexandra!!!! your silence on this has been deafening.
