"We stayed at Kompose Boutique Hotel Miami Airport while in town for a family graduation, and overall the experience was pretty underwhelming.
The hotel leans heavily into a very industrial, minimalistic design—concrete walls, exposed ceilings, and a stark aesthetic. While that might appeal to some, it felt cold and lacked any kind of welcoming or comfortable atmosphere, especially for a multi-night stay.
The room itself was just okay, but the pillows were honestly some of the worst I’ve experienced at a hotel—very uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The shower was also disappointing, which added to the overall lack of comfort.
Breakfast was an extra $6.99, which wouldn’t be an issue if it were worth it—but it really wasn’t. It’s essentially a lower-quality version of a standard continental breakfast and was not enjoyable at all.
The location is another downside. It’s right in the middle of an industrial area near the airport, surrounded by security fencing. There’s no self-parking (valet only), and even staff mentioned being cautious when walking around outside. It didn’t feel like a great or particularly safe area, especially for a vacation stay.
Overall, this might work for a quick overnight if you just need a place near the airport, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything beyond that."
