"The location was fantastic, just about a 7 minute walk to the beach. Check-in was quick and easy using key cards. One of the biggest perks was the free on-site parking for hotel guests, which is a huge value in this area. There was plenty of parking available, so finding a spot was never an issue.
The exterior of the building and the hallways are definitely showing their age, so I was a little concerned at first. Thankfully, the lobby was clean, updated, and made a much better first impression.
There are two elevators, which was a nice bonus. We stayed on the fifth floor and rarely had to wait. The hallway outside our room was warm and humid, and the older carpet could definitely use an update.
The room itself was a pleasant surprise. While the bathroom was small, it had modern fixtures and a beautiful walk-in shower that felt much more upscale than I expected. Overall, the room was clean, comfortable, and much nicer than the common areas would lead you to expect.
Overall, this was a great value for the location. While some parts of the property could use updating, the convenient beach access, free parking, and updated room made for a very enjoyable stay."
