"What a find! We just happened upon this gem through Hotel.com, and have to say it is absolutely the most charming vintage motel we've ever found on our meanderings through Michigan over many years. We like to stay in "mom and pop" places that reflect something of the area's history, and the Warren captured that perfectly. Completely renovated, it was so fresh, efficiently designed, and artistically decorated, with local artwork, and framed black and white postcards, advertisements. The exterior colors of the motel itself- dark brown and sage green -blended so nicely with the backdrop of towering old trees/woods. Just minutes away was the glorious Weko Beach, where we arrived near sunset.
The bed was so comfortable and cozy, with all white linens and comforter, and the bathroom area sparkling clean and filled with tasteful details- lemon soap, double sink, embroidered bath/pool robes. We enjoyed the pool, the loop driveway for walking laps, and the little shelter house for morning reading and decaf.
Although it's a remote, keyless check-in, we did have the bonus of happening to meet one of the owners, who was so welcoming, appreciative of our booking, and ready to help with anything we might need.
A 100% wonderful ending to our road trip up through Wisconsin to Door County and back across Lake Michigan on the Historic Badger Ferry to Ludington. Bridgman, Michigan was a great little town to discover on our last night!"
