"Hotel was comfortable, but dated. Small signs in the bathroom that things need to be replaced. Shower fair, not great. Sink had enamel missing. But spotlessly clean. Soft towels. Good size double. Bed and pillows very comfy. No air con but a standing fan. Nice touch. The pool and sauna facilities were great. Lovely staff. Overall a good stay. Perfect central location. Maybe ask for any newly refurbished rooms."

"Really enjoyed my stay at Jepherson Hotel. All staff were superb throughout that I met. I went for the included breakfast which was exceptional and even better when fresh. Lucky the hot plates were not working that day. Thanks to all the welcoming staff and would stop again."

"We chose this hotel because we were travelling for a wedding. Although the hotel itself was great, a couple of things let it down. Before our stay, I called several times to ask about an early check-in and was told we would need to check on the day. When we arrived early, despite the hotel knowing our arrival time, we were told that no rooms were available for early check-in. While this wasn't the end of the world, when we asked if there was somewhere we could get changed before the wedding, we were directed to the disabled toilet. That wasn't an ideal experience when trying to get ready for such an important event. Once we eventually checked in, the air conditioning in our room wasn't very effective, so the room became extremely hot. We were also told that our stored luggage would be taken up to our room, but this never happened. Despite these issues, we had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were generally friendly. We would stay here again, but hope these areas can be improved."

"The Whately Hall was even better than we expected. The room was large and airy with everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The evening meal was served by a very polite waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was self service with a choice of continental and a Full English Breakfast with a choice of how you wanted your eggs cooked. Or both if you had enough room. All the staff were exceptionally well mannered and it was clear that they were there to help whenever they were needed. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Fantastic location and surroundings Was disappointed with our room for tha fact we upgraded with a pet with us To find out we didn’t get our upgrade because pets were not allowed in that side of the hotel So Single beds which I was very disappointed with But the front desk could give us a free breakfast But to be honest, would rather a double bed I ordered But all in all staff are fantastic Easy parking Clean room Beautiful place to visit"
