"We received a very warm and helpful welcome on arrival. Room was clean and to a modern standard. Bathroom excellent Spacious room. Property well positioned to enable us easy access to Stratford where we had come to visit. We didn't have the breakfast as we needed to leave early so unable to comment on this aspect. "

"A lone female traveller i was expecting something very different as reviews were very good. All i wanted as a quiet restful evening and sleep. The check in is at the bar, which was already busy at 4.30. The rooms are above the bar and some further away. I was told by the really helpful lads at the bar that there was a band playing that evening finishing at 12. My room overlooked the very busy car park which would have been very noisy at kick out. "Easy to find and fantastic big car park at the back of the hotel which was included in the price of our stay. Lovely warm room, comfortable bed and great shower. There was a good breakfast selection but staff didn’t interact with customers and didn’t clear our table once during our 2 day stay. I hate dirty pots around me!! Also no conversation with restaurant staff about alternatives for breakfast as only had fried eggs on offer at self selection. I asked for poached eggs and it took them over...

"The bedroom was spacious and clean. Everywhere was clean and in good condition - no peeling paint or mustiness you sometimes get with old buildings. The staff could not do enough for you. Everywhere was warm and comfortable. The bars were busy enough to have ambience, but not packed. The pool was brill."
