"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room could use some updates. Water pressure was superb, but the curtain kept clinging to me. Very aggravating. Also, the in room coffee was terrible. The packaged creamer was crunchy. The room was sufficient for a 2 night stay and in a great location, but probably would not stay there again. "They have two buildings there I stayed in the exterior building because I had my dog with me. It’s great that they’re able to accommodate dogs of all sizes and breeds. However, the hotel room rooms in the other building are much nicer. They’re also larger. On the second day we were there. I guess they had some kind of electric issue with the hot water tank and we had no hot water. They did accommodate us by allowing me to take a shower in the other building in a different hotel room. "Every room is a suite, but prices vary, and the staff is young. They need a checklist to make sure each room has what they need (shampoo, cups, A/C on…) It’s Pretty around the pool and hot tub was big. I like the mile walk to town in the morning when it’s quiet and calm next to the lake. The entire island is relaxing with great restaurants, yummy perch and walleye bites at the Village Pump. I would return in a minute. Looking forward to going again."

"The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay."

"The first room they gave us smelled horrible!!! There was no way anyone could stay in there. Went back to front desk and eventually we got a different room, otherwise they were going to send housekeeping to spray smelly room. Second room was better. Couple mayflies squished on the floor that wasn't taken care of. 4 or 5 more dead ones on windowsill . I realize these pests are all over in June, but no one wants them in their rooms. Do better! "The room was pretty good and the bathroom seemed clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The pool area needs some help. Some of the tiles were broken and moved when you walked on them."
