"checked in. we reserved two double queens with hide a bed couches. whole hotel smells like must and is unkept at first glance.. opened hide a bed and a hotel towel with several gross stains and markings was inside along with cheetos, baathroom was disgusting, rust rimmed the tub.. manager to his benefit immediately agreed to refund our rooms and we relocated. I have not received the refund as of this date. cannot recommend this place ever!"

"Bare bones hotel, no facial tissue, blow dryer, or shampoo, but a great value for the cost. Super clean, great shower, comfortable bed and pillows. It was everything we needed for a quick overnight stay and a good night's rest. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Our room was nicely updated and clean. Our check in staff was unfriendly and didn’t seem very interested in helping us. We arrived 25 minutes early and she thought the world was ending. We offered to take a walk and come back. She decided to check if a room was available and yes there one ready. Wow that was hard…..Annoying and rude!"

"The rooms were comfortable and clean, but could use an update. The paint in the bathroom was peeling but it did not effect the cleanliness. Our only issue was the condition of the pool. It needed to be "shocked" and it didn't look like the filter was running, so we didn't use it."

"We recently stayed at The Read House hotel in Chattanooga and were very disappointed by how a serious cleanliness issue was handled. Ou our first evening, we found a live cockroach in our room. We killed it and immediately called the front desk. Someone to pick up the tissue with the bug, without saying a word and left. We never received an apology, follow-up or any acknowledgement afterward. At checkout, we mentioned the incident again to a different staff member, and she didn't react or...
