The historicity of the hotel and our room was awe inspiring. The staff was incredibly accomodating and attentive. We so enjoyed Sarah, the manager . A truly memorable experience.

Excellent Place to stay
Really great hotel to stay. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The SPA was an added bonus. Because it was my birthday we got a free upgrade. We were made to feel really spoolit. Can't recommend it highly enough. Excellent value for money

The property was a very style keeping in line with the history of the building but the tastefully done. The rooms were lovely and the Spa was great. The staff very kind and helpful. The only thing is if you want to eat out, not much open on Mondays and Tuesdays in the Village so very limited to the hotel, one pub and the Italian, we chose the Italian and it didn't disappoint.

Highly recommend
We enjoyed our stay at The Spread Eagle and were very comfortable. The room was lovely and we were kept well topped up with drinks etc. The breakfast was excellent. All staff were kind, attentive and professional. I highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Midhurst we will certainly be staying there again.

Historic hotel but needs a reboot on standards
Historic hotel - very comfortable but standards and service somewhat below par. Receptionist very helpful but appeared to be doing everything, including running to the bar to serve us drinks when nobody else was to be found. Could be excellent. Restaurant service pleasant but slow. Desk space unusable as full of coffee making etc. some grubby marks on wardrobe and shower screen.

An extraordinary building where part is medieval with a fireplace originally used for cooking and oak beams and hand made glass leaded windows while at the other end is a new pool and leasure complex. Food was excellent and staff brilliant. Car parking immediately adjacent.

Lovely relaxing stay
Lovely relaxing hotel, staff are so polite and accommodating. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Has an overall atmosphere of relaxation. Love the village too and the square with a cafe

Everything was just as we wanted: lovely room, food, massage, spa and welcoming staff. Very small breakfasts though.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and my husband enjoyed his sports massage at the Spa, after running a marathon a few days before!

Great character hotel.
Very enjoyable stay in a hotel with great character in a small old English town . Very helpful and friendly staff. Food was very good. Reasonable half board deal. Spa and fitness facilities were good but not exceptional. Cosy bedroom was small but comfortable. Lots of nice touches. We will return.
