A wonderful stay at Max Brown Missori. Travelled with a friend, and we stayed in a cosy connect room - imagine 2 small rooms with a connecting door. Lovely staff, great room and facilities. Breakfast was good - such a variety. The hotel is walking distance to metro stations and it was so easy to get to the Duomo and other areas, with one of the metro station lines close by even taking you direct to Linate Airport! Good variety of restaurants within a few mins walk of the hotel, and it felt very safe. A few nice shops also a short walk from the hotel. Definitely recommended for a stay in Milan. I would stay here again.

Clean and friendly staff. Mattress hard and bathroom Very small compared to others. If ur on a budget not bad, I consider this place a motel 6 in states. If u can upgrade I would recommend another place.

Reserved rooms here for my family. Very happy with choice. Hotel is clean and very nice. Rooms are clean, quiet with cute balcony. Ac works good and water pressure good. Location walkable and safe near super markets and restaurants and eatery options.

Nice hotel, not up the the 4 stars

Positive: The hotel is really central and clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was extremely comfy. Negative: It doesn't live up the the 4 star hotel standards. The bathroom could use a refurbish, especially the shower. Additionally I asked for an herbal tea to exchange one that I had in the room and I was charged for it. Definitely a pas faux to charge for something that should have been included in the room to start with.

Disappointed in Max Brown

The building is outdated and poorly maintained, with filthy bathrooms, old and slow elevators, and nothing appealing beyond the deceptively nice lobby. Overall, it feels like a facade and not worth the money. The bed was comfortable and the room had some nice elements like big mirrors, Smeg water kettle, and a record player. However, the lighting in the rooms was horrible! This place is seriously outdated and gross. Surprised for a Max Brown hotel. Will not be returning

What really struck me is how much personal care I was given by the staff. I have stayed at the nicest hotels in the country and they could learn from this boutique hotel at how to treat people in a way that makes them feel special. Every one of them made me feel like I was a part of the family. They even ran to the store to get me some cigarettes and stowed my bags when I was taking a short trip to Barcelona and back. Called a shipping company on my behalf because I bought too many clothes and wanted to ship a suitcase home. Truly a bespoke experience. Decided to book again already on my return from Barcelona. Also the record player with vinyl albums in the room was such a nice touch. Bravo!
