Run down, carpet was sticky in our room, staff was loud and hanging out in housekeeper office directly across from our room, smoke smell throughout hotel, and pool was so “cloudy” we couldn’t see neon toys that floated to the bottom. Breakfast was very lacking, and coffee was horrible. Also was charged a damage deposit that was same as room fee, causing twice as much to be charged to my card. This was not stated when booking and was a surprise when checking in.

The room was nice and clean, but not the one I reserved,,,no king bed, no walk-in shower. We got there early and said our room wasn't ready...no problem; we were prepared to wait, But then they quickly changed their mind, and gave us a smaller room with a tub & shower, after I specifically requested a walk-in shower. Too tired to argue. it's OK for one night. Plus the $250 deposit makes us wonder if this is a high-crime area?

The place was extremely dirty. Floors in the hotel were sticky, lots of crumbs/dirt against the edges everywhere. Trim all beat up, doors weathered. Our room door didn’t even shut/lock when you entered or left unless you pulled it tight after it closed. That’s definitely a scary thought, especially with kids coming or going

The property was used by the state for a voucher system for displaced, homeless, etc. I called them before booking to ask if they were and they said no. I asked in person’s well and they lied while I was there. Ac went out, keys didn’t work for doors, or they worked for neighbors door having went into wrong room one time. elevators did not work one day. Homeless hung outside. Noise was ridiculously loud all times of the night. Kids running in hallways. I had to ask everyday for toilet paper and towels even after I’d asked in the am for them. It was the baddest experience staying at a hotel I have ever had.

I won’t advise to stay at this hotel again. Some of the overnight staff smokes weed. You can smell the weed by the elevators and on each floor. The pool water wasn’t clean at all. The breakfast quality wasn’t good at all. I honestly booked 3 days, I left on the third night and I didn’t want to sleep the night and check out in the morning.

Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning crew to the breakfast crew were so friendly and amazing. Nice comfortable king bed with a microwave and fridge. Nice bathroom, loved the farmhouse sliding door.
