We did stay on a Sunday which of course means that a lot of restaurants are closed, however the staff recommended a local establishment in the adjacent retail park called Lencart which is a make your own pizza and pasta place. "Absolutely fantastic stay. We mentioned to the supervisor Diogo that we had got engaged a few days prior to coming to the hotel. Diogo and the team went above and beyond to make our stay extra special 💍❤️ The hotel is lovely old hotel dating back to the 1400s. The continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious, there was also the option of a hot egg machine and cooked bacon. Beds were very comfortable. "Carpeting in room dirty. Good range of places to eat nearby. Breakfast choices reduced from a few years ago. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall not as good a value as before. When on offer price is ok but not at full price."
