"I chose your hotel primarily because it is within easy walking distance to the Orpheum Theatre, where I watched my granddaughter perform as Glinda in "Wicked." The room was clean, the TV had lots of channels, I had a good dinner in the downstairs cafe (despite leaving my book there and not noticing it was missing until I reached the airport), and the two staffers at the front desk provided me with great information on how to take a bus (instead of a cab) to the airport, allowing me to see much more of the Twin Cities than just the area near the hotel, and taking only a half hour more than a cab for $2.00 instead of $50.00."

"After spending several days canoeing and portaging through the Boundary Waters in Superior National Forest, this hotel was what we needed. We arrived exhausted, dirty, and ready for a hot shower and a good night’s sleep. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable (a little firm for my taste, but other’s in my party liked them), and everything felt fresh and welcoming. My only wish is that room service had been available, but ordering through Uber Eats was easy and made for a convenient alternative. Overall, it was the perfect place to recharge after an unforgettable wilderness adventure. The next day, the shuttle was perfect for some in our party to get to the airport securely. This allowed others to get on the road for their long drive back home."

"The property was located near Msp airport, which worked well for us. The two ladies working the front desk at check in, while moderately friendly, were having a conversation when we first approached that they continued for a bit while we stood there. It didn’t appear pertinent to their work and I felt like we were almost intruding. The room was clean and very adequate for our needs, however if you turned over in one of the beds during the night, the bed frame would make a noise waking me up."

"The property is clean and well maintained given that it is an old building with a fun past! The hotel is located in the business part of downtown so it was quieter that other areas. The hotel staff was attentive. Mike is an EXCELLENT bartender and gave great recommendations for dinner options that were within walking distance. We had a King Suite which I thought would be great since our teenage daughter was staying with us for a couple of the nights and could sleep on the sofa bed. However, there was no door dividing the two spaces which was a little odd. If this matters, ask the front desk for a Suite with a door. There is a great exercise room if you lift weights or want cardio equipment. I wish there had been weights that were less than five pounds and yoga mats so I could have taken advantage of the space."
