"Nos fustó todo, habitación enorme y preciosa...un poco calurosa pero abriendo la puerta de la terraza perfecto. La cena y desayuno en el alojamiento muy bien también. Fue nuestro último día de viaje por Escocia y la verdad que fue la guinda al viaje"

"On arrival the staff were very friendly we were on the first floor and there was a lift which is good. Our room was a great size and very clean but no Air con so was very hot even with windows open. Bed was a great size and comfortable. The room was very quite no sound from other rooms. Didn't like the bath had no hand rails to get in or out if you wanted a shower and the step into it was quite high there was shampoo but no conditioner and no bags for sanitary pads. "There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way."

"My second stay at The Glen, friendly staff/owners. Different room this time round but really spacious, clean and with all you would need for a break away. Breakfast is still really good with a wide selection and freshly cooked. Ideal hotel for my needs being situated close to family and excellent for days out within the Borders and close to Tweedbank for the train to Edinburgh with free parking. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again."

"I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. We could have put up with having to search for someone to check us in, the dirty carpets, battered dirty paint work, incredibly slow service , being made to feel an inconvenience for having dinner ( food was nice when we eventually got it) and not...

"After a long journey we were so pleased to stay at this B&B, we received a warm welcome, the building is beautiful with lovely views and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental only but very well thought out and the communal areas are a special bonus. Would stay here again without a doubt. Thank you."
