"Hôtel traditionnel ancien mais très bien entretenu avec des jolis bains en extérieur. Nous étions présent pendant le festival de l’automne et l’hôtel proposait une navette gratuite pour nous emmener et nous ramener. Le personnel était très accueillant et gentil. Je recommande. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The property is in a fantastic location, just a 2 minute walk from Takayama Station. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a great bathtub. Free breakfast had great options. The only downside was that there’s no lift from the ground level up to reception, which might be tricky if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise, everything else was excellent."

"Enjoyed the spacious room - not typical in Japan. The spa and setting were great. The traditional breakfast was a treat."

"Too bad the air conditioner was not cold. But the staff was very helpful, gave directions and recommendation to our trip. The place is very close to the bus and JR station. I didn't have to wake up too early to catch morning train. Nice."

"Great Experience overall, very clean, comfortable and close to the main area in Takayama. A very short walk to the old town. Breakfast was great, but in the future hopefully will have a wider range of food selection for the breakfast."

"I stayed at the hotel after a trip to shirakawago village. There is a shuttle service from the bus station to the hotel. Dinner was amazing. I didn’t expect to be served 5 courses french cuisine in a small town like this. A few bugs problem, but it was understandable since the location of the hotel near the forest. Overall it was an excellent stay. "
